The Automotive Sales Account Manager for Sigma International is responsible for business development activities required to create a profitable book of business for Sigma International. Working in partnership with other leaders from management, sales, operations, product development and engineering, the Automotive Sales Account Manager will drive efforts to develop, coordinate, and achieve all short- and long-term growth objectives for Sigma International in the North American region. Successful candidates will be one that has 7+ years relevant experience selling to OEM's and tier ones. Major Responsibilities would be to Create, plan and lead the development of growth strategies for Sigma International at Tier one level. Specific focus on OEMS and Tiers such as IAC, Lear, Adient, Yanfeng and Magna and Faurecia. Key products are LED lighting, chrome plated parts, painted, hot stamped and IMD, IML and TOM for interiors. Must understand about plastic - interior and exterior trim experienced is preferred.

Mission for the Position:

Create, plan and lead the development of growth strategies for Sigma International at both the OEM and Tier one level.

Build and influence relationships with key decision makers in product planning, sales, materials and engineering as required to gain new business opportunities.

ü Plan, lead and manage the quote process for targeted programs

ü Ensure program deliverables and timing are understood by the company to ensure all customer expectations are met.

ü Plan, lead and manage all commercial elements of programs from acquisition through launch and serial production.

ü Reconciliation of current & future programs/volumes with those of our competition and create strategies required to secure sales growth.

Knowledge and Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. *Work Experience* 10 + Years of sales experience preferably in the automotive industry. Injection molding and value added assembly experience in both interior and exterior applications.

Work Environment:

Account Manager - will be located in the Livonia Office

Office environment with 15% travel – mainly in Metro Detroit area
