Our client is looking to hiring a maintenance technician for their team in Mentor Ohio! Our client is a leader in plastic injection molding, toolmaking, and contract manufacturing across multiple industries.
The maintenance technician would be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on plastic injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
Candidates would be experienced with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining plastic injection molding equipment.
Job responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plastic injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical issues to minimize production downtime.
- Repair and maintain conveyors, grinders, chillers, dryers, robots, and automated systems.
- Diagnose machine malfunctions using schematics, blueprints, and testing equipment.
- Assist with mold changes, machine setup, and startup procedures.
- Monitor machine performance and recommend process or equipment improvements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair records, and spare parts inventory.
