Location: North Vernon, IN/Madison, IN
Full-Time: 6am - 3pm
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Machinist to support the production of injection molded components and tooling for plastic injection molds. This role involves setting up, programming, and operating CNC equipment to manufacture high-quality parts that meet tight tolerance and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up, program, and operate CNC mills, lathes, and related machining equipment
• Machine mold components and tooling used in plastic injection molds
• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and job specifications
• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machining methods
• Monitor machining processes to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish
• Perform in-process inspections and make necessary offsets or adjustments
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Collaborate with mold makers, die builders, and engineering teams to meet production goals
Requirements
• 1-3+ years of CNC machining experience (setup, operation, basic programming)
• Strong understanding of CNC machining principles and best practices
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
