IntroductionIntek Plastics specializes in designing, manufacturing, assembling, and delivering a wide variety of customized plastic extrusions in the Fenestration, Hydroponic, Lighting, Refrigeration, and Power Management Industries.

We’re expanding our tool room and looking for an experienced Tool Maker to join our team! With new ownership under the Intek Plastics Group, opportunities for growth, advancement, and enhanced workplace perks have never been better. We have an opening for a CNC Machinist on 1st and 2nd shift

1st shift-Monday-Friday 7am-3pm

2nd shift-Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm

Responsibilities

As a Tool Maker, you will:

  • Perform high-precision CNC machining and related programming
  • Troubleshoot tooling and equipment issues with accuracy and efficiency
  • Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings
  • Utilize a wide range of general tool room equipment
  • Work independently with minimal direction while maintaining strong organizational practices

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in high-precision CNC machining
  • CNC programming experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a sense of urgency
  • Solid blueprint reading and tool room equipment knowledge

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Machine Tooling Techniques or equivalent experience
  • Experience or knowledge of injection molds (preferred)
  • Journey Worker’s License (highly preferred)
