Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (No Rotating Shifts!)

About the Role

We are seeking a CNC Plasma Operator to join our team. This position is perfect for candidates with hands-on experience who enjoy working in a dynamic, manufacturing-based environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that our parts meet strict quality standards. A Plasma Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC plasma cutting machines. Load and unload materials, interpret engineering drawings, and ensure the machine cuts parts according to specifications, while also maintaining quality and safety standards. Duties often include programming the machine, monitoring its performance, and performing basic maintenance.

Requirements

  • Required:
    • High school diploma/GED and/or relevant work experience.
    • Familiarity with different types of steel and other materials, including their properties and appropriate cutting parameters. (preferred)
    • One (1) or more years experience operating a CNC Plasma Table. (Preferred)
    • CNC knowledge (preferred)
    • Understanding of measurements, tolerances, and the ability to convert between fractions and decimals. (Required)
    • Ability and willingness to participate in safety training and/or certifications provided by the company or customer.
    • Read and understand blueprints.
    • Become Tow Motor certified though IGS – must hold a valid driver’s license.
    • Strong attention to detail and mechanical/technical aptitude.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work safely with tools and equipment.
    • Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
    • Must be 18 years of age or older
