Plant 3D Fabrication Designer

As a Plant 3D Fabrication Designer, you will be responsible for developing detailed 3D models for fabrication purposes, supporting engineering teams to execute complex plant designs. You'll play a key role in translating conceptual plans into accurate, workable fabrication models that streamline manufacturing processes and ensure seamless project delivery.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency with Autodesk Plant 3D or equivalent 3D modeling software
- Solid understanding of fabrication and piping design principles
- Experience in creating detailed fabrication drawings and models
- Knowledge of industrial standards and code compliance
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Navisworks or other project review tools
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit
- Previous exposure to large-scale industrial or refinery projects
- Knowledge of material specifications and welding standards
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Design Engineering preferred
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Plant 3D design or related field
- Proven track record of working on industrial plant projects
Other Requirements:
- Based in or willing to work in League City, TX
- Ability to work full-time on a 40-hour workweek (Monday-Friday)
- Availability for an initial 12-month project duration, with potential for extension
