Location - White, GA (NADC)

Department- Supply Chain - North American Distribution Center -Planning & Scheduling

Reports To- Planning Manager, NADC Supply Chain

Position Summary

The Team Lead Scheduling is responsible for leading daily scheduling operations within the North America Distribution Center (NADC), ensuring reliable, efficient, and aligned execution of outbound planning and shipment readiness.

The position requires close coordination with cross-functional stakeholders, including Transportation Planners, Warehouse Operations, Inventory, and Transportation, to align priorities and maintain operational stability. The Team Lead Scheduling is also accountable for team leadership, performance management, and continuous process improvement within the scheduling function.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Execution

  • Own the end-to-end scheduling process (wave planning, shipment creation, priority management)

  • Translate planning inputs into actionable daily schedules aligned with operational capacity and constraints

  • Ensure schedule readiness for outbound execution, including picking, consolidation, and shipment processing

  • Manage real-time operational adjustments and exception handling to maintain service levels.

Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Coordinate with Planning, Inventory, Quality Control, Outbound Operations, and Transportation teams to ensure alignment on priorities and execution

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for scheduling-related issues and constraints

  • Facilitate communication between planning and execution teams to ensure smooth operational flow

Performance Management

  • Monitor and report on scheduling and operational KPIs (e.g., on-time shipment, schedule adherence, backlog)

  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities

  • Drive corrective actions and ensure adherence to established planning and scheduling processes

People Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of scheduling planners

  • Establish clear priorities, roles, and accountability within the team

Process Improvement & Standardization

  • Identify and implement improvements to global scheduling processes, tools, and workflows

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

Experience

  • 3-5+ years of experience in supply chain, warehouse operations, or planning/scheduling roles

  • Experience in a distribution center or logistics environment preferred

  • Prior experience in a team lead or supervisory role is an asset
