A Planning Allocation Manager is responsible for overseeing the distribution and allocation of products or resources within an organization, typically in the retail or supply chain sectors. They analyze sales data, forecast demand, and develop strategies to ensure that the right products are delivered to the right locations at the right time. Their role helps optimize inventory levels, improve sales performance, and reduce excess stock. Planning Allocation Managers work closely with buyers, merchandisers, and logistics teams to align product allocation with business objectives.

What are the main challenges faced by a planning allocation manager when balancing inventory levels across multiple locations?
