Overview

The Account Executive will drive new product sales and/or current client sales and increase the value of existing clients’ subscriptions. The Account Executive will be responsible for managing and developing strategic sales plans with a strong focus on building and maintaining client relationships, driving revenue growth, and contributing to the overall success of the sales department and the company.

Job Duties
  • Lead the development and execution of strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Meets or exceeds organizational key performance indicators, sales targets, and quotas. Monitors sales performance and redirects efforts when goals are not being met. Champions change efforts to increase sales effectiveness, negotiates with customers at the highest level, and finds ways to leverage current footprint to target accounts for higher level access to decision makers.
  • Manage and nurture a portfolio of current clients, understanding their businesses, needs, and challenges, and providing tailored solutions to drive value and ensure long-term satisfaction and retention.
  • Share best practices, provide support, and foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture.
  • Identify and pursue new upsell opportunities within book of business through dedicated outreach efforts.
  • Conduct high-level product demonstrations, presentations, and negotiations with key stakeholders to secure and expand business opportunities, as well as to showcase the value and benefits of our offerings.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activities to identify opportunities for growth and potential threats and provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team.
  • Utilize CRM software to track and manage sales activities, pipeline, and customer information, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer success, and product development, to ensure a seamless customer experience, alignment of sales efforts with company objectives, and the successful execution of client initiatives.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • 2-4 Years of relevant experience in a Sales related position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets and quotas in a B2B sales environment.
  • Previous experience in a sales role, key account management, or a related position.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong drive to succeed in a competitive sales environment and the ability to inspire and motivate others to excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in using CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, Product demo URL’s, and other relevant sales and productivity tools.
  • Willingness for limited travel including required annual sales summit and dental conference attendance.

Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is also eligible for variable pay as part of the total compensation package.
