Job description

Position Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading day-to-day warehouse operations for WHS 307, ensuring customer shipments are processed accurately and on time, inventory integrity is maintained, and warehouse priorities are aligned with customer demand, plant requirements, safety expectations, and business performance goals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily direction, task prioritization, and operational support for warehouse activities to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Coordinate the processing of all viable customer shipments through Parcel, LTL, and NL modes of transportation.
  • Identify material shortages required to support customer sales order demand and coordinate follow-up actions to reduce fulfillment delays.
  • Maintain inventory integrity for all materials moving in and out of WHS 307, including accurate transactions, bin locations, labeling, and inventory controls.
  • Process ad hoc shipment requests from internal customers for materials and equipment moving to other ATW plants or to repair shops for refurbishment.
  • Maintain and distribute the daily metrics package, including shipments processed, lines processed, invoice totals, fulfillment performance, and related warehouse productivity measures.
  • Serve as the WHS 307 point of contact for plant-related activities, including safety meetings, site management meetings, escalation items, and operational events.
  • Implement new processes and procedures that improve warehouse performance, data accuracy, inventory integrity, safety, and overall service levels for the Retail Warehouse.

Required Qualifications and Attributes
  • Demonstrated experience leading warehouse, shipping, fulfillment, inventory control, transportation, or logistics operations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to assign priorities, communicate expectations, coach team members, and respond to changing operational needs.
  • Working knowledge of customer order fulfillment, shipment processing, inventory transactions, material movement, and warehouse documentation.
  • Ability to identify shortages, resolve fulfillment issues, escalate constraints, and support root-cause problem solving.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on inventory accuracy, data integrity, transaction discipline, and process compliance.
  • Comfortable using operational metrics to monitor performance, communicate results, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Commitment to safety, housekeeping, equipment inspection, and compliance with plant and company requirements.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across warehouse, transportation, production, sales, and site management teams.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience with warehouse management, ERP, inventory, or shipping systems.
  • Experience coordinating Parcel, LTL, NL, plant-to-plant, or repair/refurbishment shipments.
  • Experience maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly operational metrics.
  • Experience supporting Min/Max inventory planning, aged stock review, shortage reports, or cycle-count activities.

Success Measures
  • Customer shipments are processed accurately, on time, and through the appropriate transportation mode.
  • Inventory records, bin locations, and material movements remain accurate and well controlled.
  • Material shortages and fulfillment risks are identified early and escalated appropriately.
