We are currently seeking PIT Operators to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for moving inventory, by doing picking, consolidations, and put-away.

Cherry pickers and reach truck operators are one of the most important positions for serving our customers' needs. You’ll be key to driving our success!

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Properly operate Lift Trucks -Stock/Cherry Pickers.
  • Complete Order Picker checklist and ensure pallet is on forks before lifting.
  • Ensure battery level is not below 25%.
  • Ensure safety harness and lanyard are in good condition.
  • Safely pick up pallets from staging locations.
  • Put away items and document their locations with accuracy.
  • Practice safe material handling.
  • Count pieces that put away and compare with scanner.
  • Ensure the items put away match with current stock.
  • Make sure that each item has label.
  • Assist in packing of parts when needed.
  • Put away old LP’s before newer ones, unless otherwise instructed.
  • Ensuring cleanliness of work area at the end of the day.
  • Meet the expected quota.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned
  • Shift: Thu-Fri-Sat 5:00am to 5:30pm

  • Intermediate interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
  • Flexible attitude.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Availability to work the necessary hours to deliver high quality output.
  • Ability to keep a clean and organized work area.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Occasionally: Activity exists up to 1/3 of the time (8-11 hour shift)
  • Frequently: Activity exists from 1/3 of the time up to 2/3 of the time (8-11 hour shift)
  • Constantly: Activity exists 2/3 or more of the time (8-11 hour shift)
  • Must be able to stand or walk up to 12 hours a day
  • Must be able to  lift up to 50 pounds constantly 
  • Must not be afraid of heights
