Industrial Piping Foreman

Quality Mechanicals is now hiring a working Industrial Piping Foreman who is permanently located in the Cincinnati, Dayton, Southeastern Indiana, and Northern Kentucky areas to join our growing team! Quality Mechanicals is a fully insured mechanical piping contractor located near downtown Cincinnati.

We are searching for an experienced, committed, career-minded Mechanical Piping Foreman with no less than 5 years field experience in a leadership role. The ideal candidate has experience with industrial piping systems, outages, rigging and running

a crew. Foremen at QMI are team oriented with a strong work ethic and highly motivated.

QMI Foremen manage large public and private construction projects, supervising crews of workers to ensure that each project runs smoothly. Our foremen see that our crew is working safely and efficiently to complete projects on time, with the highest quality finished product in our industry.

Daily Work Requirements:

  • Assign appropriate manpower and equipment to each worksite activity.
  • Ability create isometric drawings.
  • Effectively interface with clients.
  • Plan and schedule jobsite crew, subcontractors, and materials/equipment providers.
  • Accurately report all jobsite time with our office in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for daily lift inspection reports, JSA's, Hot Work Permits, Work Permits and Welder Logs.

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong ability understanding plan specs and isometric drawings and P amp;ID's.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a field environment running a crew, 10 years preferred.
  • Knowledge of pipe, fittings and piping systems.
  • Ability to understand plans and complete material take-off's.
  • Proficient in written and verbal business communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • OSHA30 required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
  • Able to lift amp; carry 50lbs or more.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ideal candidates are permanently located within 30 minutes of downtown Cincinnati due to job site locations.
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required.
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record.

Benefits and Compensation:

Competitive weekly pay, medical, health savings reimbursement, dental, vision and life insurance, 401k program with company match, paid time off and paid holidays. Foreman accrue 80 hours of paid time off per year, after 60 days of employment.
