As a Right of Way Advisor, you will support pipeline projects by leading and coordinating right-of-way activities that enable safe, timely, and compliant project execution. This role is focused on securing and managing the land rights needed for pipeline construction, operations, maintenance, and expansion. You will work closely with project teams, legal, environmental, engineering, and external stakeholders to develop right-of-way strategies, negotiate agreements, resolve land and title issues, and maintain strong landowner relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the land interface for pipeline projects, partnering with engineering, environmental, legal, permitting, operations, and project management teams to align land strategies with project schedules and execution needs.
  • Manage landowner outreach and negotiations, addressing questions, resolving issues, and helping build constructive relationships that support successful project delivery.
  • Work with regulatory agencies, municipalities, attorneys, and internal partners to address permitting support needs, condemnation matters, and other complex land issues.
  • Oversee and direct contract landmen, brokers, surveyors, and other third-party resources supporting right-of-way acquisition and land-related project activities.
  • Prepare, review, and administer land agreements and supporting documentation while ensuring compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and approved project objectives.
  • Maintain accurate project land records, status reporting, and issue tracking to support decision-making and efficient execution across the project team.

What You'll Bring - Required

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • Bachelor's degree or 5 years of experience
  • 3 or more years of experience in right-of-way, land acquisition, or related land functions
  • Experience negotiating easements, access agreements, leases, or similar land rights instruments
  • Ability to assess land-related risks and support timely resolution of title, stakeholder, and execution issues
  • Able to travel domestically up to 25%

What Makes You Stand Out - Preferred

  • Degree in Petroleum Land Management, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field
  • 6 or more years of experience in pipeline right-of-way, land acquisition, or related land work, ideally within the oil & gas industry
  • Oil & gas industry experience
  • Working knowledge of title review, curative processes, survey coordination, and condemnation support
  • Demonstrated success leading complex landowner negotiations and resolving difficult right-of-way issues
