Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Install industrial piping systems: chill water, hot water, steam, condensate, and condensed water
  • Read blueprints and submittals
  • Fabricate pipe supports and spool copper lines
  • Work independently and problem solve
  • Repair, cap, and test all types of plumbing piping
  • Instruct plumbing helpers under your supervision
  • Practice all safety procedures
  • Hold license to operate equipment necessary for the role

Education Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a high school education or equivalent
  • Rigging knowledge preferred
  • 5 years pipefitter experience preferred
  • Knowledge of pipefitter equipment, power tools, and fabrication methods
  • Knowledge of different types of pipe, valves, fittings, and their functions
  • General knowledge of code requirements and limitations
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards, including ladders

Job Requirements/Special Skills:
