Job description

We are seeking an experienced and safety-oriented Experienced Pipe Layer to join our team and safely and efficiently install storm pipe, storm structures, sewer pipe, sewer manholes, water pipe, and water apparatuses. 
Pipe Layer Duties and Responsibilities, Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Through knowledge of blue prints and ability to read and interpret them.
  • Ability to calculate and shoot grade as needed.
  • Basic survey skills and survey equipment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of pipe lasers and equipment.
  • Prefer the candidate have 10 hour OSHA and Competent Person Training.
  • Familiar with rigging practices, Certified Riggers Card is a plus.
  • Confined Space training, Confined Space Certification is a plus.
  • Competent understanding of all types of pipe materials and classification.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as pipe layer. 
  • Abide by all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as all company safety procedures.
  • Commit to the overall safety of the work environment by always taking extra precautions to work with the utmost care and consideration.
  • Strong work ethic and physical ability to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Conduct work in a safe and appropriate manner.
  • Overtime as required.
  • Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
