Eaton's EPG CHD EP Americas division is currently seeking a Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician 3rd Shift. The rate for this position is Hourly: Step 1: $28.88, after 45 days Step 2: $32.49, after 90 days Step 3: $36.10 per hour plus. There is an hourly wage increase at 45 days and 90 days.

Eaton's Electrical Sector (Crouse Hinds, B-Line and Oil & Gas business) is currently seeking a 3rd Shift Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is based at our Amarillo, TX facility.
Position Overview:
This position requires ability to be responsible for installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of facility equipment, plant and associated systems.

In this function you will:
• Install equipment/machinery.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Complete/maintain maintenance logs and associated documentation.
• Maintain and secure tools and repair equipment. Maintain/clean work areas.
• Communicate equipment/plant status as required.
• Maintain and follow all safety requirements and ensure compliance by maintenance personnel.
• Operate a variety of lifts etc.
• Work with Operations team members and leaders in work area to ensure uptime on equipment and repairs complete and effective with operations team.
• Share learnings and train/cross train with coworkers to ensure knowledge is shared by maintenance team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
• 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Amarillo, TX Loc will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in metals fabrication.
• Able to utilize hydraulic schematics, pneumatic schematics and electrical schematic
• Familiarity with waste water treatment
• Ability to modify or program PLC's and HMI's a plus
Skills:
Position Criteria:
• Work in various locations, including confined spaces, and at varied heights using fall protection, permits, and other safety processes and procedures as required including but not limited to lockout/tagout
• Able to stand on feet continuously during shift and able to lift 50 lbs without assistance (40 lbs routinely)
• Requires PPE to include safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, leather gloves and hearing protection (as required in high noise areas).
• Environment exposure includes sharp objects, pinch points, oil.
• Familiarity with basic mechanical principles/basic knowledge of shop maintenance tools
• Advanced skills in one or more of the following: Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, PLC troubleshooting and repair.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and parts breakdown.
• Basic skills in reading, arithmetic and writing in English.
• Dexterity for and ability to operate equipment, machinery, and computers (including Windows and MSOffice as well as industrial software)
• Working knowledge of equipment operations, tooling, machining operations, and product.
• Familiarity with safety standards such as electrical safety, arc flash, and lock out/tag out
• Familiarity with DC and AC power up to three phase 480 volt AC.
• Able to read ladder logic and utilize PLC for troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and controls issues
• Capable of welding, pipe fitting, rigging
• Ability to work around molten metal and in a production environment that is at times very hot or very cold, and subject to unexpected swings of overtime (ability to flex personal schedule to cover tasks on other shifts)
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with all employees throughout plant
• Employee must be able to work in a heavy industrial environment with large manufacturing equipment
• Ability to perform basic computer functions: use SAP, eSafety, MESH Prism
