RA Holdings, through our Retro Insulation branch, is looking for an entry-level Mechanical Insulator Helper.

Responsibilities:
•    Learn to measure, cut, and install insulation materials on pipes, ducts, and mechanical equipment.
•    Assist with installing insulation on hot and cold systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, and other mechanical systems.
•    Learn to work with different types of insulation materials, including fiberglass, foam, pipe wrap, duct board, and other specialty materials.
•    Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine duct work requirements.
•    Apply insulation to both hot and cold systems, including refrigeration and cold storage.
•    Ensure safety and compliance with building codes and industry standards.
•    Collaborate with contractors and other trades on construction or retrofit projects.
•    You will work on commercial, industrial, military base, and federal projects as assigned.
•    Attention to detail and precision in cutting and fitting insulation.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•    Familiarity with design-build projects and construction processes is a plus.

Required Skills, Abilities, and Qualifications:

•    Must be able to pass a background check to obtain DBIDS military badging.

•    Must have the REAL ID, Social Security, and Birth Certificate.

•    Must have a vehicle and ability to travel within the 757 cities.
•    Previous knowledge in construction, sheet metal, HVAC helper, or carpentry would be desirable, but not required. 

Schedule:

•    Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm
