Job description

We are hiring experienced CDL A flatbed drivers for regional OTR positions hauling steel, pipe, and coil. Assigned late-model automatic trucks, non-forced dispatch, and consistent home time most weekends.

Compensation:

  • Pay: 27% of load (averages $1,400โ€“$1,600 gross weekly; higher for longer runs)
  • Sign-On Bonus: $1,500 paid on first Friday paycheck
  • Tarping $40/load
  • Layover $50/day (after 24 hrs empty)
  • Detention $16/hr after 2 hrs
  • Safety/clean inspection bonus
  • Per Diem: $300 weekly non-taxed
  • Pay Frequency: Weekly direct deposit

Schedule & Home Time:

  • Primarily Monโ€“Fri/Sat runs with 34/48-hrs restart
  • Home time varies by home state (most regional within 5 states, home weekends; flexible dispatch)
  • Rider & Pet: Yes (day one, no fees; rider 18+, pet no restrictions)

Equipment & Benefits:

  • Trucks: Late-model automatics (assigned, take home with trailer)
  • Benefits: Medical, dental, 401(k) with match after 30 days

Requirements:

  • Valid Class A CDL, minimum 22 years old
  • 12+ months verifiable flatbed experience in past 5 years
  • Proven steel, pipe, or coil hauling experience;
  • Proficient with straps, tarps, chains, binders (40โ€“50% loads tarped)
  • No DUI/DWI in past 5 years
  • Clean record preferred
  • Zero Clearinghouse violations
  • Pass pre-employment urine drug screen
