Summary
Lead 2nd shift PIO team by installing, troubleshooting, training, and providing a productive and efficient shop floor. Should be able to run department in absence of PIO Supervisor to include but not limited to running pull list, holding pre-shift meetings, and compiling shift recap report.
Responsibilities
  • Install accessories according to manufacturer's instructions
    • Overall understanding of PIO installations and ability to troubleshoot problems
    • Correct any deficiencies noted by Quality Control before the vehicle is returned to staging area
    • Complete a defect tag if parts are defective and submit to Supervisor, for which part my be considered a warranty claim
    • Maintain a clean and hazard free work environment.
      Ensure all policies and procedures are followed regarding safety
    • When required, perform installations outside
  • Ensure proper documentation is completed on each install according to customer specifications and quality standards
    • Perform periodic audits to ensure installations are effectively performed
    • Assist fellow team members to make sure quality is maintained, and installations are completed in a timely manner
    • Ability to work effectively in group/team settings: make progress determinations as needed, recommend performance determinations
    • Ability to conduct meetings and other required sessions for communication of quality, production, and safety requirements
    • Ability to use iVeles to provide PIO pull list
    • Ability to complete shift recap report
    • Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

  • 1 year of experience in Automotive/Repair Required

  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Training Preferred
  • ASE Certificate or License Preferred
