Summary
The Line Off Inspector position will be responsible for completing daily inspection procedures for the FIL department.
Responsibilities & Essential Functions
  • Perform inspections according to guidelines:
    • Inspect each vehicle completely in assigned area in a prompt, detailed manner, in accordance with customer guidelines, policies, and procedures
    • Perform inspection per Standardized Work Instruction Sheet
    • Record any defects found outside company specifications per Glovis policies and procedures
    • Must learn each inspection position completely, and apply knowledge learned in performing job
  • Work closely and communicate effectively with internal/external customers:
    • Work closely with Glovis and KMMG members on the FIL line to ensure quality vehicles are produced
    • Communicate any issues found with Glovis and KMMG team members to ensure that defects outside of Glovis specifications are noticed and repaired
    • Record defects on provided forms
    • Other duties as assigned
