To thrive as an Insurance Agent, you need strong sales acumen, product knowledge, and typically a relevant license such as a property and casualty or life insurance license. Familiarity with CRM software, quoting tools, and underwriting systems is essential for managing client accounts and processing policies. Excellent interpersonal skills, active listening, and the ability to build trust help agents stand out in a competitive marketplace.
