The Role

We are recruiting for an Account Manager to support a team in our Raleigh, North Carolina location. Our AMs are a vital part of every account team! They support Account Directors and drive the internal communication needed to pull off the amazing projects we produce.

Think of this role as ground control, the hub of the bicycle wheel, the one who manages up.

What You’ll Do

  • Support one or more Account Directors in executing large scale events, activations and exhibits
  • Coordinate/manage projects, including: quotes, design, client approval, kick-off meetings, detailing, graphics, production, shipping, on-site service needs and invoicing
  • Act as intermediary between client and internal teams, ensuring all questions and concerns are addressed as necessary to keep the project on track. Coordinate, lead, participate in client meetings including preparing meeting notes
  • Communicate status updates and changes to the project team
  • Coordinate, supply quotes, and track shipping and ship dates of projects
  • Track and document changes/additions to projects
  • Manage shows services
  • Travel as needed (10-20%)

Who You Are

  • 3-5 years of current work experience in account management or account support in agency, tradeshow or event execution industries
  • Ability to organize and disseminate the details included in multiple large projects
  • Once trained on how we work, ability to show demonstrated mastery of working projects through our system
  • Experience coordinating logistics across multiple partners and venues with tight timelines
  • Able to read construction drawings; familiarity with how things are built and construction techniques across a wide variety of materials
  • Able to handle multiple projects with short turnaround times. This will be self-directed work and will require a lot of trust and focus
  • Skilled at developing and maintaining relationships
  • Must enjoy being in a supportive role and being able to take the lead when needed
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, procedures in the event and exhibit fabrication/trade show industry
  • International event experience is helpful
  • Able to work long hours in order to get the projects done, travel required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Experience working within an ERP, billing, quoting, invoicing. Enjoys the details of keeping it all tidy
  • College degree preferred
