The Security Coordinator, assigned to a specific client, will manage the execution and reporting of recurrent field-level security programs that support the core foundational activities of the Global Security department. This role provides duty of care support to client-based travelers, monitors security events, conducts risk assessments, oversees risk intelligence tools, coordinates security projects, and utilizes various technologies to protect the organization's assets globally. The Coordinator ensures a cadence process is completed at the corporate and field levels, summarizes field submissions, and report results to various business partners.


Responsibilities

  • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Manage the cycle of work involved in the delivery and execution of field level security programs by working with the and Global Security leaders.

  • Ensure the completion of field work in support of Global Security core programs.

  • Provide duty of care support to all client-based travelers.

  • Monitor security events that may impact travelers.

  • Conduct security risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and address potential security threats to the organization.

  • Communicate with other stakeholders to drive completion of the work within the defined timelines.

  • Track results of the submitted work and corrective action plans and provide associated reports.

  • Provide continuous observation and analysis of the organization’s assets to detect and respond to potential security threats globally.

  • Conduct daily social media and online searches for security intelligence and to identify potential security threats to the organization.

  • Oversee risk intelligence tools to detect and assess threats to determine the appropriate action to take and execute.

  • Utilize CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and sensor devices to monitor assets.

  • Implement technologies like key cards, biometric scanners, and security personnel to control and monitor access to restricted areas.

  • Identify unauthorized access or suspicious activities through real-time monitoring.

  • Implement immediate actions to address detected threats which may include alerting local security personnel and site leaders, locking down areas or the facility, or notifying law enforcement.

  • Utilize scorecards to measure the activities of the global security program.

  • Create, update, and coordinate the Global Security training & awareness program and plans.

  • Oversee security projects that may include systems such as video management, visitor management, access control, and other physical security technologies.

  • Coordinate executive protection assignments to including board meetings, executive travel, and organizing events in high-risk areas.

  • Assist with security investigations and follow ups.

  • Adapt to increased areas of responsibility as experience in the role advances.

  • All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with three to five years of security or law enforcement, preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.

  • Familiarity with CTPAT, TISAX, TAPA, and AEO, preferred.
  • Bi-lingual skills; English and Spanish, preferred.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of project/process management.
  • time management and organization skills.
  • Self-starter and highly motivated.
  • Able to effectively analyze information, develop reports, and share relevant outputs with stakeholders.
  • Computer skills; Microsoft Office.

Working Conditions:
