Job description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Residential HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and servicing residential and/or commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while delivering high-quality service. We are under new management and are locally owned and vet operated.

What will you do?

  • Engage with clients to inform them of issues, solutions, and outcomes; recommend products and services for optimal system performance.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC systems and equipment.
  • Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain and perform work on air handling units, duct work, vents, and condensation drainage lines.
  • Accurately track repairs and complete work in Service Titan and other trade software systems.
  • Ensure that the work performed is aligned with industry standards.
  • Communicate issues in a non-technical manner to clients.

What will you bring?

  • 3+ years as an HVAC service technician
  • Residential HVAC experience
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient knowledge of different models of HVAC systems

Physical Demands:

  • Stand/Sit: Must be able to remain in stationary position 50% of the time
  • May be required to bend, climb (Stairs/Ladders), do repetitive motion, kneel, reach, squat, stand, crawl, walk, and run
  • May be required to drive and sit for long periods of time
  • May be required to maneuver up to 25 lb. by lifting, carrying or pushing

The starting rate for this opportunity ranges from $65k to $120k annually. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility.
