Job description

Job Duties

  • New equipment installation, CNC troubleshooting and repair, hydraulics, automation, and PLC controlled equipment.
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing the mechanics of the production-based equipment. 
  • Ability to read hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical prints.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and complete work orders.
  • Fabrication of machine guards, work platforms and other items used in the manufacturing process.
  • Thread, crimp, and install pipe used for steam, gas, water, air, and liquid.
  • Use of a wide variety of precision measuring instruments for exacting measurements. 
  • Work from general assignment and process with minimum Supervisor and direction.
  • Close all work orders assigned to in Emaint each day accurately and timely.
  • Follow all Safety policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to occasionally sit, crawl, reach, twist, push, pull, grip, pinch, crouch/squat, forward bend, forward sit, forward stand, and climb stairs/ladders.
  • Ability to frequently stand and walk.
  • Ability to exert light lifting and carrying under 25 lbs up to 33% of the time.
  • Ability to exert moderate lifting and carrying of 25-49 lbs up to 33% of the time.
  • Ability to exert heavy lifting and carrying of 50+lbs up to 33% of the time.
  • Ability to occasionally perform repetitive motion activities.

Valid Journeyperson card or 8 years of practical trade-related experience
