Job description

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

·       General cleaning of ceilings, lights, walkways, ledges, beams, perimeters and racks

·       Maintain and operate the powered floor scrubber in accordance with the cleaning schedule

·       Empty and clean warehouse trash containers

·       Maintain, clean and do upkeep on warehouse signs, fire extinguishers, drop stations and safety mirrors

·       Clean warehouse equipment, stretch wrapper, dock pits and dock locks in accordance with the cleaning schedule

·       Paint and maintain warehouse floor lines and walls as necessary

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Ability to operate forklift.  Must pass Red Gold forklift operator requirements
  • Prefer prior sanitation and/or forklift experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

·       On the job training regarding the operation of power scrubber, handling of chemical cleaners, and forklift operation
