Overview

Enterprise Mobility's Corporate Aviation Department is seeking a Pilot (Captain) to join our world-class flight operation based at St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL).

Privately held by the Taylor family of St. Louis, Enterprise Mobility, together with its affiliate Enterprise Fleet Management, manages a diverse fleet of 2.4 million vehicles and nearly $39 billion in revenue through a network of more than 9,500 fully-staffed neighborhood and airport rental locations in more than 90 countries and territories. 

At Enterprise Mobility, our aviation team plays a critical role in supporting a safe, professional, and efficient operation of company aircraft. Our Corporate Aviation Department is known for its strong safety culture, modern fleet, exceptional teamwork, and commitment to delivering a first-class experience for every passenger.

This position is based in St. Louis, Missouri, and candidates are expected to reside within the greater St. Louis metropolitan area to support flight operations, including trips scheduled on short notice. The Pilot (Captain) reports directly to the Assistant Chief Pilot and serves as Pilot in Command (PIC) when assigned, exercising final authority for the safe operation of the aircraft.

More than four decades ago our company was founded by Jack Taylor, who named the company after the aircraft carrier that he served on as a Navy pilot during WWII - the USS Enterprise. Aviation continues to be an important part of our culture and commitment to service today.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage, and execute complex domestic and international trips as Pilot in Command.
  • Operate aircraft safely in accordance with company procedures, aircraft manuals, and regulatory guidance.
  • Actively participate in our safety management and security programs to identify and mitigate risk.
  • Lead and participate in aviation projects of varying size, scope, and complexity that deliver significant impact to the team and our passengers.
  • Deliver an exceptional passenger experience by anticipating needs, ensuring comfort, and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and discretion.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Minimum of 3,500 hours of flying experience to include 1,500 hours as PIC
    • Military Applicants: Apply a conversion factor of 0.3 hours per sortie added to logged flight time to determine your equivalent civilian flight time.
  • 1000 hours of Turbine PIC Time
  • Three years minimum of FT experience as a Corporate, Charter, or Military VIP transport pilot
  • Must possess a current Airline Transport Pilots (ATP) certificate 
  • Must be able to obtain a valid FAA First Class Medical 
  • No record of aircraft accidents, incidents or violations
  • Must possess and maintain a passport without restrictions for international travel
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Gulfstream GVII-G500/G600 Pilot Flight Experience 
  • Substantive experience supporting, developing, administering, or improving aviation-related programs such as SMS, FOQA, Security, or International Operations.
