Role Summary
The Logistics and Trade Manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution and oversight of global customer logistics, trade compliance, warehousing, and third-party logistics (3PL) operations. This role serves as the operational lead for customer order fulfillment, international logistics coordination, inventory movement, and supply chain process optimization while ensuring alignment with company objectives, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements.
The Logistics and Trade Manager provides direct leadership to logistics personnel and external 3PL partners and is accountable for operational execution, customer service performance, logistics compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role ensures logistics operations are functioning efficiently, key metrics and customer requirements are achieved, and operational risks, capacity constraints, and service issues are proactively managed.
The Logistics and Trade Manager serves as the primary logistics resource for Customer Service, Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Quality, IT, and external logistics providers, representing logistics in cross-functional execution, process improvement initiatives, and issue resolution activities.
Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct the daily functions of all 3PL activities to ensure operational capacity, efficiency, and service performance are maintained. This includes developing and maintaining logistics metrics, operational linearity, and performance reporting.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely processing of customer orders, including EDI and non-EDI transactions, while ensuring customer requests, carrier inquiries, documentation requirements, and daily system transactions are completed effectively and within service expectations.
  • Communicate critical operational information to Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, Quality, and Warehousing teams while collaborating cross-functionally to improve logistics processes and overall service performance.
  • Manage the setup, integrity, and ongoing maintenance of all customer master data within Oracle and related systems to ensure operational continuity and transaction accuracy.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of logistics performance metrics including order compliance, on-time delivery, customer scorecards, and operational KPIs. Analyze operational data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions and process improvements.
  • Oversee the storage, movement, and global distribution of finished goods to ensure products are delivered accurately, on time, and in the most cost-effective manner while meeting customer compliance requirements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through Lean principles and Kaizen initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Support and oversee Order-to-Cash processes including EDI transactions, customer order management, customer compliance requirements, and issue resolution activities to support overall customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness.
  • Establish, maintain, and report logistics and warehousing KPIs with emphasis on customer scorecards, global 3PL performance, and operational service metrics. Benchmark against industry standards to improve performance and reduce compliance-related fines.
  • Support and improve E-Commerce and Direct-to-Consumer logistics operations, including shipping, fulfillment, and returns management processes.
  • Oversee all finished goods warehousing activities across global logistics locations to ensure operational effectiveness, inventory accuracy, and alignment with customer and business requirements.
  • Support workforce planning, staffing, and operational training initiatives to ensure logistics personnel and external partners are properly trained and aligned with company goals, safety standards, and operational procedures.
  • Develop and support execution of short-term and long-term logistics strategies focused on operational scalability, warehouse optimization, cost reduction initiatives, and supply chain efficiency improvements.
  • Identify and implement technology and process improvement opportunities within logistics operations to support automation, operational effectiveness, and company growth initiatives.
  • Oversee product return, reclamation, and reverse logistics activities to minimize waste, improve material recovery, and support cost avoidance initiatives.
  • Support and monitor ISO, FDA, OSHA, Hazmat, environmental, and safety compliance requirements within logistics and warehousing operations, including participation in audits and adherence to operational safety standards.
  • Oversee facility-related logistics activities while supporting environmental health and safety requirements within warehouse and operational environments.
  • Represent the organization in professional, customer, and industry settings through participation in meetings, conferences, and customer discussions supporting operational alignment and business objectives.
  • Conduct all business activities in a fair, ethical, and legally compliant manner while supporting an inclusive and professional work environment aligned with company values and policies.

Salary and Benefits
Waterpik, a partner company of Church & Dwight, supports employee wellbeing and regularly benchmarks against companies within the industry to provide a competitive Total Rewards package. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors including job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographic location, and internal pay parity. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,900 - $157,900, with bonus eligibility when applicable.
