Responsibilities

Pediatrix® Medical Group is seeking a Pediatric Intensivist to join a collaborative, highquality pediatric team at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital, home to the only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) on the Treasure Coast. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a growing community while practicing in a wellresourced, supportive environment.

About the PICU & Practice
  • 6bed PICU with approximately 425 annual admissions
  • 15bed pediatric medical/surgical floor with ~1,200 annual admissions
  • Collaborative team of Pediatric Intensivists and Pediatric Hospitalists
  • Neonatology coverage provided by our affiliated team in the Level III NICU
  • Advanced ventilation capabilities including HFOV, HFJV, NAVA, SIMV, CPAP, HFNC, and inhaled nitric oxide (iNO)
  • Stateoftheart imaging and diagnostics, including CT, MRI, and EKG
  • Robust onsite pediatric subspecialty support and full complement of telehealth pediatric subspecialty support
