Location: The Pickleball Shack SRQ, Sarasota, Florida

The Pickleball Shack SRQ is Sarasota’s premier destination for all things pickleball. We’re more than just a retail store; we’re a community hub for pickleball enthusiasts. We offer top-quality gear, apparel, and accessories, as well as coaching, events, and travel experiences for the local pickleball community.

Role Overview:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Pickleball Consultant to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes pickleball and wants to help others discover the joy of the game. You’ll serve as a go-to expert for our customers, assist in running in-store demos and events, and help shape our in-house training programs and travel experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement & Sales: Provide expert advice to customers on pickleball equipment, including paddles, shoes, and apparel. Help them find the perfect gear for their needs and skill levels.

  • In-Store Demos & Clinics: Lead in-store paddle demos, introductory clinics, and mini-lessons. Create a welcoming environment for players of all levels, from beginners to advanced.

  • Event Coordination: Assist in organizing and running local pickleball events, tournaments, and travel experiences that we offer to the Sarasota pickleball community.

  • Training & Instruction: Help develop and deliver training sessions or workshops for customers looking to improve their game.

  • Community Building: Act as an ambassador for The Pickleball Shack SRQ, fostering a sense of community and enthusiasm around the sport.

Qualifications:

  • Passionate about pickleball, with solid knowledge of the game and its equipment.

  • Experience playing or coaching pickleball (PPR certification is a plus).

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, engaging personality.

  • Ability to teach and inspire players of all ages and skill levels.

  • Comfortable working weekends or events as needed.
