JOB SUMMARY:
Warehouse Workers ensure the right products are available atour stores. They are an important part of our distribution center operations,performing a variable range of job functions based on their skill, experience,and the Company's dynamic business needs. Success as a Warehouse Workerrequires the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team,balancing productivity, safety, and good judgment in line with company policiesand procedures.
DESCRIPTION OF TASKS:
The Warehouse Worker inspects equipment to ensure that theequipment is thoroughly reviewed for safety and operational purposes.  The Warehouse Worker's tasks requireperforming a variable range of functions and tasks, including but not limitedto order selection, loading, receiving, put away, replenishment, and/or anyother tasks that may be assigned during a shift or across shifts. The positionrequires working in multiple different temperature environments (including dry,chill and frozen) as assigned during a shift or across shifts. Assignments arevariable such that Warehouse Workers are unlikely to perform the same tasksevery day and Warehouse Workers must be able to perform various additionalfunctions that may arise as directed and as dictated by the Company's dynamicbusiness needs.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Receiving

  • Receive in-bound loads according to purchase order.
  • Work in dry, chill and frozen environments as assigned.
  • Apply labels to received pallets.
  • Ensure proper dock flow by collaborating with otherreceivers.
  • Report and handle damaged product to reduce shrink.

Put Away

  • Put received product pallets into rack locations in dry,chill and frozen environments as directed by warehouse management system.
  • Rotate product in racks as needed before placing newerproduct.
  • Bring pallets with issues to the designated area.

Order Selection

  • Perform dry, chill, and frozen order selection as assigned.
  • Stack cases skillfully to ensure stable pallets and avoiddamage to product and equipment.
  • Ensure accuracy of orders through use of voice pickingsystem.
  • Properly wrap pallets to ensure safe delivery to stores.
  • Deliver finished pallets to correct door assignment

Replenishment

  • Keep pick-slots full as guided by warehouse managementsystem.
  • Work in dry, chill and frozen environments as assigned.
  • Rotate inventory as directed.
  • Place all product in proper pick-slots and bring any problempallets to a designated area.
  • Take damaged product to designated area.

Loading

  • Wrap and consolidate pallets as needed before loading.
  • Scan and load pallets as directed by warehouse managementsystem.
  • Complete loading diagram and other paperwork as needed.
  • Secure loads as needed.

Safety

  • Perform work productively, accurately, and safely.
  • Identify and report potentially unsafe conditions andsituations.
  • Follow safe and proper work methods.
  • Ensure work area and equipment are kept clean at all times.
