Summary (Major Purpose of the Role):

The Loader is responsible for getting the right product to the right customer on time and damage free by loading customer orders onto carrier trucks and properly documenting each trailer load.


The primary product lines you’ll oversee are durable medical goods ranging from canes to wheelchairs, in-home hospital beds and respiratory products. These products are critical to the lives of our customers and you’ll be a part of leading this team in driving best-in-class metrics in Safety, Quality, Service, and of course, our People.


Schedule: Monday through Friday 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm


Main Activities/Responsibilities:

  • Accurately loads trailers with customer orders
  • Follow and adhere to daily checklist for trailers and all equipment
  • Operates an electric pallet jack or pacer to transport product to load/unload trailers and organize Dock floor
  • Transport freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles
  • Utilize equipment to properly wrap and secure product to pallets
  • Record numbers of pallets handled or moved, using load manifest sheets to record trailers loaded
  • Maintain the accuracy of loading with proper Bill of Ladings (BOL)
  • Verify orders are complete prior to shipping
  • Communicate the status of trucks with supervisors and other coordinators
  • Use of banding machine to strap pallets to the pallets as needed
  • Develop an attitude and participate in an environment of continuous improvement


  • Ensure the compliance of safety norms to include maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work area
  • Other duties may be assigned

Reporting Relationships and Supervision:

  • This position will report to the Distribution Center Supervisor.

Education and Experience:

  • H. S. Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math skills
  • Basic computer skills, e.g. PC, MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel), RF scanners
  • Able to use material movement equipment (e.g. pacers, pallet jacks, etc.)
  • SAP or Warehouse Management System experience


Your Physical Demands/Work Environment:

  • Physical activity includes walking, standing, bending, squatting, reaching above shoulders and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Performs activities in a warehouse environment. May be subject to changes in temperature and exposure to dust.

Actual compensation may vary depending on factors such as the applicant’s experience, specialization, and education, as well as the company’s requirements. The stated range does not include bonuses, incentives, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits which may be offered to the applicant, if eligible under the company’s policies.
