Job Summary:
The Material Coordinator position will work within the AR Manufacturing amp; Engineering teams focused on kitting inventory, picking amp; issuing material to the assembly stations quickly. This includes return of material accurately to inventory and deconflicting material discrepancies.
Essential Functions:
  • Continuous review of Material Demand via Material Pick List amp; MBOM/Bill of Process to identify the kits that incoming material reports to.
  • Work directly with assemblers, engineering support, amp; Mfg. Engineers to support material pick/issue requests.
  • Execute within the same day picking amp; issuing of material to assembly work centers
  • Reconcile material returns into Plex Inventory
  • Support Materials team in maintaining accurate material counts
  • Process and kit all incoming material from Quality Inspection into kits per the MBOM/Bill of Process daily.
  • Organize and deliver materials for multiple work centers at a time.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials kitted, picked/issued, and returned to inventory.
  • Scan material in current kits, reviewing material in each against MBOM/Bill of Process.
  • Review current kitted materials in inventory and confirm correctness
  • Create jobs in PLEX Job Manager amp; Add jobs in PLEX Kitting Manager
  • Self-motivated learner
  • Offering input on inventory management improvements.

Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (as demonstrated through experience, training and/or testing)
  • Inventory kitting, picking amp; issuing experience a must.
  • Experience with resolving material discrepancies i.e. incorrect quantities, shortages, etc.
  • Experience with Plex IAM roles Inventory, Mass Move, Split/Merge Container, Inventory Move, Manage Container/Location, Plex “Notes”
  • Ability to print and create labels in Plex
  • Ability to Split amp; Merge containers in Plex
  • Critical thinking experience in high demand prototype assembly
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and MRP/ERP systems like Plex
  • Computer Skills: Plex, Microsoft, Non-conformance Software, Work Instructions (Teamcenter and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to adapt positively to changes.
Education amp; Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Higher Education Degree is a plus
Background Prerequisites:
  • Forklift experience amp; previous forklift license in either propane fork truck or electric stand-up forklift.
  • Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks and controlled substance testing.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Management of inventory.
  • Previous evidence of Crane licensing.
  • Experience with Teamcenter Bill of Process kitting operation numbering.
  • Experience in Costpoint material receiving and inventory modules
  • Experience with Teamcenter 2412 amp; Visualization Base
  • Plex Mobile and Plex IAM
