Job description

Job Title: Order PickerJob Description

The Order Picker packages small parts for side-view mirrors used in semi-trucks and larger RVs. This role focuses on inspecting components, accurately counting and weighing parts, and packaging them to complete customer orders. You work at a waist-high conveyor system, use a computer to manage inventory and labels, and help ensure that every shipment is accurate, neatly packaged, and ready for delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect small parts for quality and accuracy before packaging.
  • Perform inventory checks to confirm correct quantities for each order.
  • Wrap and package components to complete customer orders according to specifications.
  • Stand at a waist-high conveyor system and move completed boxes to the end of the conveyor.
  • Use a computer to locate purchase receipts, print labels, and enter completed parts into the system.
  • Return parts to inventory locations and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Count and weigh parts to verify order requirements are met.
  • Handle occasional lifting of packages between 25–30 lbs, with most packages weighing less than 10 lbs.
  • Support picking, packing, and shipping activities within the warehouse as needed.
Essential Skills
  • At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
  • At least 1 year of packaging experience.
  • Ability to perform inventory tasks accurately.
  • Experience with order picking in a warehouse or distribution environment.

The facility can be warm during the summer but is generally comfortable. Around 20 workers are in production across warehouse, maintenance, and operations, offering a close-knit team atmosphere. Music plays while you work, and you may also listen to your own music, contributing to a relaxed and enjoyable environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
