????️ Opportunity Snapshot
Under the direction of the Shipping Supervisor, the CDL Driver / Shipping Associate supports both transportation and shipping operations to ensure the efficient movement of materials and finished goods.

This is a hybrid role with responsibilities split between driving and shipping/warehouse support based on business needs. The role includes transporting materials between locations, completing local pickups and deliveries, and supporting order fulfillment through picking, packing, and shipping activities.


???? What You’ll Do
Transport materials and products between the main plant, warehouse, and local vendors using a 24’ truck, semi-tractor, or van

Stage trailers at plant and warehouse locations and coordinate daily schedules with the shipping team

Conduct trailer checks including carrier identification and equipment inventory (pads, straps, load bars, decking)

Assist with loading and unloading materials, ensuring accurate labeling and proper placement within the facility

Make local pickups and deliveries and follow inspection procedures for incoming vendor materials

Perform quality and quantity checks on incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and prevent damage

Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with USDOT guidelines and report maintenance needs

Pick, pack, crate, and prepare products for shipment using appropriate tools and methods, including blanket wrapping

Perform accurate inventory transfers utilizing scan guns and ensure proper product identification and tagging

Support overall shipping and logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate movement of materials

Follow all safety policies, work rules, and maintain housekeeping standards


✅ What You Need to Succeed
High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Valid driver’s license and Class A CDL with a safe driving record

Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification

At least one year of experience driving semi-trailers, warehouse operations, or related experience preferred

Ability to read and interpret shipping documents such as bills of lading, invoices, and shipping reports

Basic math skills including measurements, fractions, decimals, and percentages

Familiarity with computers and Microsoft Office

Ability to operate trucks, forklifts, yard tractors, and other material handling equipment

Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to safety
