Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The primary function of this role is to accurately and efficiently ship product to our customers. This entails picking and preparing fulfillment orders and production shipments, proper packaging for designated shipping method, and processing shipments through our shipping systems. The Fulfillment Specialist must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Read and understand the production job ticket and fulfillment pick lists
  • Run forklifts, man-up order pickers, and riding pallet jacks
  • Ensure that product is properly packages and prepared for shipment
  • Pack orders made up of multiple items into boxes

Other Job Duties:

  • Assist in the implementation of ongoing Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Assure that all safety procedures and policies are followed
  • Keep work areas clean
Qualifications

Skills & Educational Requirements:

  • One year experience in warehouse pick/pack
  • Proficient keyboard and computer skills
  • Experience operating forklifts, man-up order pickers and riding pallet jacks preferred
  • Strong counting and reading ability
  • General knowledge of shipping carriers and services
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Works well independently and in a team environment
