Job description

CTDI is a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company that services the country's largest wireless telecommunications providers, as well as the largest High-speed Internet & Cable providers. A Material Handler performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies.
2nd Shift: 3:30PM - 12:00AM, Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $16.94/hour + 10% Shift Differential = $18.63/hour
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Executes foundational tasks within a warehouse environment including but not limited to: packaging, unpackaging, put away, sorting, staging, picking, shipping and preparing units for production.
  • Cut open boxed inventory in the storage area or on the rack.
  • Place open boxes on the appropriate shelf of the flow rack.
  • Walk the length of the flow rack.
  • Wrap cords neatly and securely, ensuring they are tangle-free.
  • Assist with labeling, tagging, or color-coding wrapped cords as needed for easy identification.
  • Consistently meet or surpass daily production and quality goals.
  • Complete required paperwork, forms, or digital records accurately and promptly for documentation purposes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation.
  • Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations.
  • All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.

Required Skills and Experience
  • Capacity to demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and dependability.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Basic computer ability.
  • Ability to understand and follow directions.

Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.
  • Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Clerical skills.
  • Time-management skills.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.

Educational Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions
  • Warehouse environment.
  • Stand dynamically for long periods.
  • Use hands and fingers to handle and/or feel; the ability to type, pick, pinch with fingers, seize, hold, grasp or turn with hands.
  • Lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Push and/or pull up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Reach up and out with hands and arms
  • Occasionally required to climb stairs or ladders.
