Job description

The Retail Attendant at Piccolo Buco by Cooper’s Hawk has a passion for guest service, food, wine, and hospitality. You create memorable experiences through efficient, friendly, and team-based service while educating guests about our products, wines, and Wine Club. Your goal is not only to serve but also to connect; inviting guests to join our growing Wine Club community and ensuring every visit is worth returning for.

Pay Range: $15 - $18 per hour.  Pay offered is determined by skills, qualifications and experience.

  • Ensure your workstation is fully stocked, organized, and prepared for opening or mid-shift

  • Keep the retail and tasting room areas clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times
  • Restock wine and merchandise promptly, ensuring displays are attractive and per standards
  • Step in to assist with hosting, service assisting, or carryout/curbside orders when needed

  • Communicate clearly with teammates, Managers, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience

  • Build relationships with guests by engaging in friendly, genuine conversation

  • Provide thoughtful recommendations for food, wine, and retail items based on guest preferences

  • Serve beverages and conduct tastings with attention to detail, presentation, and hospitality standards

What You’ll Need

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Experience in a casual dining, upscale dining, or retail sales environment preferred
  • Wine knowledge or experience in a wine-focused environment preferred
  • Positive attitude and strong sense of teamwork
  • Comfort and enthusiasm in actively inviting guests to join the Wine Club
  • POS system experience preferred
  • Ability to stay active and focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to read, understand and communicate in English
  • Comfort working weekend, holidays and flexible schedules
