We are actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at Athletic Edge Physiotherapy in Fremont, California. In this full-time role, you will work closely with our licensed Physical Therapists to provide exceptional care to our patients, implementing individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing their physical function, mobility, and overall quality of life. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
  • Conduct therapeutic exercises under supervision, provide manual therapy, and utilize various modalities as specified in the treatment plans.
  • Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, recording relevant data and providing feedback to ensure effective quality improvement.
  • Educate patients on proper exercise techniques, body mechanics, and safety measures to enhance their rehabilitation process.
  • Support the setup and operation of various therapeutic equipment, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times.
  • Maintain detailed records of patient responses to treatments, and communicate any significant changes or concerns to supervising Physical Therapists.
  • Ensure treatment areas are organized and well-stocked with the necessary supplies, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Assist in administrative tasks, including patient scheduling and managing patient records as required.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Athletic Edge Physiotherapy serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgical procedures, injuries, and chronic conditions. You will work with patients of all ages, often treating orthopedic cases that require specialized physical therapy interventions. Qualifications
  • Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of California.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
