Special Instructions to ApplicantsWe are accepting applications for physician instructors for part-time, intermittent, fixed term appointments to cover potential teaching needs on our Athens, OH, Cleveland, OH or Dublin, OH campuses. Physician instructors are needed in the areas of family medicine, general internal medicine, OB/GYN, pediatrics, surgery, neurology and other specialties. Applications to this pool will be considered to fill part-time, non-tenure track, non-benefits eligible instructor positions during academic year 2025-2026. The need for these positions is undetermined at this time and is dependent on operational and instructional needs. If a need arises, departments will select candidates from this posting.

medical curriculum at any one of our three campuses on an as-needed basis. Instructors prepare and perform didactic instruction for and evaluation of osteopathic medical students, including small group teaching and clinical skills laboratory sessions, and/or serve as a clinical content expert/facilitator in the
Pathway to Health and Wellness Curriculum.
Minimum Qualifications - Minimum of DO or MD degree
- AOA or ABMS board eligible or certified
- Active state medical board license in good standing
- DEA license or eligibility for the same
- Teaching experience in medical education
Preferred Qualifications - Team teaching experience
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to relate to diverse faculty, staff, students, and community members.
