    We are accepting resumes for potential openings in Teacher Education for the fall semester of academic year 2026-2027 and the spring semester of academic year 2026-2027. The need for additional positions is undetermined at this time and is dependent on operational need including enrollment and staffing. If a need arises, the department will select candidates from this posting. Review of applications will begin immediately and conclude once all positions are filled.

    Job Description
    The Gladys W. and David H. Patton College of Education at Ohio University invites
    applicants for the Adjunct Instructor position to serve as University Clinical Educators. This
    position requires on-site presence in Athens, OH.
    The Instructor serving as a University Clinical Educator is an integral part of The Patton
    College of Education faculty and assumes responsibility for mentoring, supervising, and instructing Clinical and Professional Interns. The UCE works closely with the Coordinator of Professional Internships in Teaching and is expected to keep the PI Coordinator fully informed of the day-to-day operation of the internships and the progress of the interns assigned to them. The UCE must become familiar with the placement schools and their communities.
    Minimum Qualifications
    Master's degree in education or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also satisfy the degree requirement.
    Current/former teaching license or education administrative experience.
    At least five (5) years of teaching experience.
    Preferred Qualifications
    Working knowledge of technology.
