This position will require you to work onsite at our surgical center, promoting direct interaction with patients and healthcare teams. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic while ensuring our patients receive the dedicated attention they deserve. • Conduct thorough physical examinations, meticulously reviewing medical histories and presenting symptoms.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including blood work and imaging studies to inform treatment decisions.
• Diagnose and formulate treatment strategies for a diverse range of conditions, focusing particularly on family medicine.
• Create detailed and personalized treatment plans addressing chronic and infectious diseases, adapting to the evolving health needs of patients.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and diligently monitor patient responses to ensure effectiveness and safety.
• Maintain precise and organized patient documentation, including health records and appointment scheduling, to streamline workflow.
• Educate patients and families about health concerns, preventive measures, and treatment processes, enhancing their understanding and engagement.
• Oversee the overall health and well-being of patients, regularly assessing their progress and adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Advocate for healthy lifestyle changes and preventive measures, promoting community wellness.
• Continuously engage in professional development by keeping abreast of advances in primary care practice through ongoing education.

Your role as a Physician Assistant will involve working with a diverse patient demographic, including individuals experiencing acute and chronic health issues. The focus will be heavily on family medicine, catering to all age groups and backgrounds. You will be instrumental in building rapport with patients, understanding their unique health narratives, and tailoring interventions that prioritize their individual needs.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field.
• Current NCCPA certification as a Physician Assistant.
• Active state licensure as a Physician Assistant in New York.
• Proven experience of at least 2 years in a clinical setting, preferably in a family health clinic.
• Expertise in family medicine, with a strong grasp of patient care standards and regulations.
• Exceptional communication skills for effective patient and family interactions.
• A collaborative spirit with a commitment to ethical, patient-centered care.
• Willingness to maintain clinical competencies while fostering a positive work environment.

• Experience conducting initial consultations and follow-ups in a surgical center or similar facility.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient information efficiently.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment while providing high-quality patient care.
• DEA certification for controlled substances management.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 150,000 to 180,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
