The successful Physician Assistant will be working onsite at our hospital facility, which is equipped with cutting-edge technology and resources aimed at enhancing patient care. This role is primarily Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, collect detailed patient medical histories, and review medical records in order to assess patient needs effectively.
• Order and interpret necessary diagnostic tests, including blood tests and imaging studies, to facilitate accurate diagnoses.
• Diagnose and treat a diverse range of health conditions and illnesses, while making necessary referrals to specialists as appropriate.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients suffering from chronic and infectious diseases, closely monitoring their progress and treatment effectiveness.
• Prescribe medications, educate patients on necessary treatments, and monitor responses to ensure optimal care outcomes.
• Maintain comprehensive and organized patient records, including treatment plans and follow-up schedules, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding health conditions, preventive measures, and wellness practices.
• Conduct daily rounds, collaborating with healthcare teams to provide integrated and holistic care to patients across various units.
• Engage in continuous professional development, staying informed on the latest advancements in primary care and family medicine to enhance clinical practice and patient outcomes.

The Physician Assistant will work primarily with a diverse population of adults and children. Our focus includes preventive healthcare, management of chronic conditions, and treatment of acute illnesses. • A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited institution.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in New York.
• Strong background and expertise in family medicine, with extensive clinical experience in a primary care setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective patient interaction and education.
• A commitment to ethical healthcare practices and a focus on patient-centered care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and manage diverse patient needs.
• Willingness to obtain a DEA number to prescribe medications.

• A minimum of two years of experience as a Physician Assistant in a family health clinic or similar healthcare environment.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare management software.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and engagement with current best practices in primary care.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 150,000 to 180,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
