This position is based onsite at our advanced Rehabilitation Facility in West Hartford, Connecticut. • Evaluate and treat patients recovering from injuries, diseases, or surgeries in a clinical setting, implementing personalized treatment approaches that consider each individual's medical history and personal goals.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans utilizing modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to alleviate pain, restore function, and enhance mobility.
• Regularly document patient progress, treatment responses, and adjustments to care plans in electronic health records to maintain accurate patient files and ensure continuity of care.
• Conduct periodic assessments and adjust therapeutic goals as needed, ensuring that interventions remain relevant to the patient's evolving needs.
• Educate patients and their families about care strategies, home exercises, and correct usage of assistive devices to promote independence and self-management.
• Maintain current knowledge of best practices in physical therapy through attendance at educational workshops, professional conferences, and engagement with relevant literature.

Our clinic serves a diverse range of clients, including children, adults, and the elderly with varying diagnoses. Patient conditions include post-operative recovery, musculoskeletal injuries, neurological disorders, and preventive care. Each therapist is encouraged to utilize their specialized skills and knowledge to develop tailored approaches that address unique patient challenges, driving overall health and well-being.

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of Connecticut.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in digital documentation and comfortable using electronic health record systems.
• A flexible mindset, willing to adapt to various patient needs and situations.

• Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience preferred, although enthusiastic new graduates will be considered.
• Experience in orthopedics, geriatrics, or pediatrics is an advantage but not a requirement.
• Familiarity with current rehabilitation technologies and approaches.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
