Job description

Step into a meaningful role supporting students' growth and well-being as a part-time Physical Therapist at two vibrant school communities near Springfield, MA. This opportunity is designed for individuals passionate about pediatric physical therapy looking to provide direct, impactful services during the school year-and potentially beyond.
Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
  • Current license to practice physical therapy in Massachusetts, or ability to obtain one
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong understanding of school-based service delivery models
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently across two school buildings
Role Overview:
  • Deliver physical therapy services to a caseload of 11-15 students, supporting their educational and functional development
  • Work collaboratively with educators and related service providers across JFK Middle School and Jackson Street Elementary School
  • Provide A, B, and C grid IEP services and documentation as required by district procedures (no PTA supervision needed)
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans for students ages K-8
  • Maintain timely and accurate records, progress notes, and communication with families and school staff
  • Schedule services any 3 days per week (up to 18 hours), lending flexibility to manage your own workflow
