In Motion O.C. is the #1 ranked physical therapy clinic in America per Yelp and Google Reviews. We are a busy outpatient physical therapy clinic looking for a part-time physical therapy aide. We are looking for individuals with an outgoing and caring personality and possess a strong commitment to personal and professional growth.
Position:
Title: Physical Therapy Aide
Availability Required: 16-40 hours per week
Schedule: must be able to work until 7pm during some weekdays
Work location: in person
Essential Aide Duties and Responsibilities:
• Will work under the direct supervision of a Licensed PT and provide patient care by leading patients through stretches and exercises as prescribed by the PT
• Prepare tables and treatment rooms following protocol
• Update and send patients home exercise programs and other clerical work such as filing and organizing
• Apply modalities such as ice/heat, traction, e-stim, or ultrasound as directed by PT
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
• Clinical chores such as laundry, restocking paper goods and towels, putting away/cleaning equipment, and taking out the trash
Job Qualifications:
We are looking for a physical therapy aide who enjoys helping others in a team environment, as this is the main focus of our business. Ideal candidates will also be pursuing a career in the field of PT or OT and must also possess the following:
• Caring, energetic, and friendly attitude
• Ability to multi-task in a face-paced environment
• Work well with others on a team
• Attention to detail along with excellent communication
• Can commit to 1 year minimum of employment with In Moton O.C.
• Can lift/carry 20-50 pounds
• Knowledge of anatomy is preferred
• Reliable form of transportation required
• We are currently hiring for our Irvine location but being open to help at our other locations in Huntington Beach or Fountain Valley sometimes is preferred
• A bachelor's degree in kinesiology, exercise science, or extensive knowledge in exercise or training is preferred
• Previous experience as an aide in a Physical Therapy setting is preferred - though we will provide extensive training
