As a Physical Security Specialist, you'll be responsible for the overall safety and protection of our facilities, assets and personnel. You'll play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating security risks, implementing robust security systems and ensuring emergency preparedness. By leveraging your expertise in security principles, technologies, and best practices, you'll help our organization maintain a secure environment and safeguard against potential threats.

What you'll do

  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures and protocols to ensure facility and employee safety
  • Help ensure the safety and security of high-profile executives, board members, and key personnel.
  • Develop and implement security plans for travel, events and residence.
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and operation of security systems, such as surveillance cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems
  • Manage and monitor security systems such as CCTV, alarms and access control systems
  • Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency response agencies during and after security incidents
  • Train staff members on security measures and emergency response protocols
  • Investigate security breaches and prepare detailed incident reports
  • Perform regular maintenance and testing of security equipment to ensure its functionality
  • Recommend and implement security improvements such as lighting, fencing and access control
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding physical security
