About the Role:
GoldenTech is seeking a Security Manager to support a critical Department of Energy (DOE) contract. This role involves managing security operations, overseeing access control systems, and ensuring compliance with Intelligence Community (IC) security protocols. The ideal candidate has experience in SCIF security, access control, vendor management, and personnel supervision. Key Responsibilities:
Supervise Security Engineers and Access Control Attendants to ensure contract compliance.
Manage and maintain access control systems, ensuring continuous functionality.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for system support and upgrades.
Ensure compliance with ICD 705 security standards and GSA policies for security equipment.
Oversee SCIF access protocols, badging systems, and physical security controls.
Conduct equipment and system inspections, troubleshooting issues as needed.
Provide on-call support and manage emergency security procedures.
Ensure all personnel security clearance documents are properly completed and submitted. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Security, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in security operations (private sector, military, or civil service).
2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
Knowledge of access control design, implementation, and operations.
Experience with SCIF security procedures and escorting protocols.
Familiarity with badging systems, closed-circuit TV systems, and security hardware.
Strong program management, problem-solving, and vendor management skills.
Certifications such as Locksmith Certification, Lock Program Security Training, or ICD 705 training (preferred).
