Job type Full-time

Role Product

Experience 6+ years

Visa US citizen/visa only

About the role

Help real people breathe better. Build cutting edge AI apps. Make a lasting impact.

That's what we do at Kivo Health.

We just raised our Series A! We're looking for our first product manager to help us build our tech-enabled healthcare clinic. This is an in-office, Seattle role only. Come work with our talented team, including a former NASA engineer, a Stanford MD, and a multi-time YC founder with 1 exit.

Our ideal candidate has 6+ years of experience working as a product manager for a tech company.

What you’ll do

You'll work directly with Engineering and Operations to create new UI/UX to address patient and operational needs, and own KPIs that drive our core business. For example, you might design and build an AI-based workflow to help reduce charting time from 40 minutes to 5 minutes. Or, you might work with Engineering to analyze what variables drive enrollment conversion.

What we're looking for:
  • You thrive on understanding user needs, both internal and external.
  • You get a dopamine hit from an improved metric.
  • You want to build AI-driven product experiences and workflows.
  • You like to work with Engineering to create solutions to problems.
  • You're excited to work directly with the company founders.
  • You're excited by the idea of working at a startup.
  • You have a strong desire to make a positive impact on people’s lives.
  • You write SQL with AI to analyze metrics yourself.
  • You are located in Seattle (or plan to move here).
We're not a good fit if:
  • You prefer working at large companies.
  • You don't want to live and work in Seattle.
Your first 90 days
  • 0-30: Get to know our business, the team, our product, KPIs and OKRs.
  • 30-60: Help us investigate and increase our enrollment rate by 10% by designing and shipping changes to our onboarding flow.
  • 60-90: Design and ship new exercise features to our lung maintenance program, Kivo Beyond.
Benefits
  • Series A startup equity
  • Healthcare
  • 401k
  • Unlimited PTO
Notes
  • We're flexible on title depending on your experience.
  • We're open to fractional PM work if that fits better with your situation.
About the interview
  • 30-45 minute chat with our founder/CTO Vaughn (on Zoom)
  • 1 product-focused interview (on Zoom)
  • In-person loop at our Seattle office (2-3 interviews)
  • Interview with our founder/CEO Victor (in person)
  • Offer
About Kivo Health

Kivo Health provides telehealth lung therapy to people with chronic lung disease.

Lung therapy is similar to physical therapy. It includes guided exercise and live education. Our 9-week, insurance-billed program connects patients to our therapists in real-time. We help patients feel better, get back to everyday activities and stay out of the hospital. Because we reduce hospitalizations, we save payers an average of $8k per patient.

We're working directly with UCLA, Stanford and other major health systems across 9 states. We're making money, growing quickly and are looking for engineers to scale our service to all 50 states.

Some more about us:

  • We're working directly with UCLA, Stanford and other health systems in 9 states.
  • We're well capitalized and have advisors from YCombinator, Cricket, Virta, and the COPD Foundation.
  • Vaughn (CTO) is a serial YC tech founder with an exit to Trulia, and Victor (CEO) is a Stanford-trained physician.
  • Our patients love us: "Kivo is a miracle to me... I could never have attended any other way."

If you want to work at a high-growth startup, and have a direct impact on patients' lives, come work with us! We're growing quickly, so this is a great opportunity to join early. Some similar companies that became unicorns are Virta, Somatus, Cricket, and Hinge Health (IPO May 2025).
