Job description

Badger State Staffing is seeking reliable individuals for full-time Asphalt Laborer positions based in the Fox Valley. This role involves physically demanding work on active construction sites, requiring a strong work ethic, safety awareness, and the ability to operate various heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will contribute to delivering high-quality paving solutions while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Primary Duties:
  • Clean and prepare asphalt cracks using compressed air and other equipment
  • Apply hot rubber crack sealant to asphalt surfaces
  • Assist with traffic control and job site setup
  • Load and unload materials and equipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Operate hand tools and small equipment
  • Perform general labor as needed
Schedule: This is a full-time position, starting at 7:15 AM working through project completion. Average weekly hours are 50-60, working up to seven days each week through November.
Qualifications:
  • Maintain high productivity and focus while executing demanding physical labor in extreme and varying outdoor weather conditions
  • Demonstrated reliability and punctuality, maintaining a good attendance record
  • Possessed the stamina and physical endurance required to stand, walk, bend, and perform continuous heavy labor during long workdays
