General Laborer Job Highlights:

  • Shifts and Pay:
    • 3rd shift ($18 per hour): 10:00PM-6:00AM Sunday-Thursday
    • 2nd shift ($18 per hour): 1:45PM-10:15PM Monday-Friday

General Laborer Job Summary:

Our client is seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals for General Labor position on 2nd and 3rd shift. In this role, you will be responsible for handling, inspecting, processing, and repairing wood panels for reusable containers. This is a fast-paced environment that requires a high level of adherence to safety and sanitation protocols.

General Laborer Job Duties:

  • Load wood panels onto the production line for processing
  • Inspect incoming wood panels for quality, removing any waste material, stickers, tags, or damaged pieces
  • Monitor the production line to ensure smooth processing
  • Unload processed wood panels from the line and inspect them
  • Sort and stack wood panels by size and type after processing
  • Repair damaged wood panels when appropriate including using hand sanders and other tools

General Laborer Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in production or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Ability to work in a hot, non-temperature-controlled environment for long periods
