Job description

Since 1963 Liberty Superstores, owned and operated by the Patnoe family, with four generations of car dealers, has been proud to serve the Black Hills of South Dakota and the surrounding area. Liberty Superstores has grown to 10 franchises and 8 locations in Rapid City and Sturgis. Job Summary:

As a Vehicle Photographer, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality images of our vehicle inventory across all six of our dealership locations in Rapid City and Sturgis. Your work will play a crucial role in our marketing efforts, helping to attract potential customers by presenting our vehicles in an appealing and professional manner. You will collaborate closely with our sales teams to ensure that our online presence reflects the quality and variety of our inventory.

Typical graphic design responsibilities include creating visual marketing materials for print and digital platforms, such as vehicle advertisements, signage, and website assets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Photograph vehicles for online listings, ensuring each car is presented attractively and accurately.
  • Maintain a consistent photography style in line with the dealership's branding and guidelines.
  • Manage and organize the photography schedule to ensure timely updates of new inventory.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales teams to understand the specific features and selling points of each vehicle.
  • Travel between the six dealership locations to capture images of the inventory at each site.
  • Keep track of the latest photography trends and techniques to continually improve the quality of the dealership's vehicle photos.
  • Assist with other visual marketing efforts, such as creating promotional materials and social media content as needed.
  • Ensuring all designs align with the dealership's brand identity and marketing goals.
  • Updating and maintaining website content.
  • Experience with video production and editing is a plus!
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and locations efficiently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
